TinyGallery app

Use TinyGallery like an app

TinyGallery is run by one person, so this is our simple app version for now. Instead of a separate App Store download, this basically adds a TinyGallery shortcut to your home screen, and the website behaves like an app when you open it.

What this actually does

It basically places a TinyGallery shortcut on your phone or tablet so the site is easier to open.

When you tap that icon, TinyGallery opens in a cleaner, app-like view instead of feeling like a regular browser tab.

Your account, orders, favorites, and listings all work the same way. It is still the TinyGallery website, just in a more convenient format.

What this is not

It is not a separate download from the App Store or Play Store.

It is not extra software running in the background, and it does not replace the TinyGallery website.

If you ever change your mind, you can remove the icon from your home screen like any other shortcut.

Why it works this way

TinyGallery is a one-person company, so this is the lightweight app version for now.

I wanted something simple, fast, and easy to use on phones without making people wait for a full store app. Adding the TinyGallery shortcut gives you the important part: the site behaves like an app and stays easy to reach.

iPhone and iPad

Install from Safari

Safari can place a TinyGallery shortcut directly on your home screen. When you open it, the website behaves like an app.

  1. Open TinyGallery in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add to place the TinyGallery icon on your home screen.

Android

Install from your browser

On many Android browsers, TinyGallery can show an install prompt. If it does, you can add the shortcut in a couple of taps.

  1. If your browser shows an install prompt, tap Install.
  2. If you do not see a prompt, open your browser menu and look for Install app or Add to Home Screen.
  3. Confirm to add the TinyGallery icon to your device.

If something feels off

Please report buggy app behavior to TinyGallery

If anything feels buggy in the app-style version, please tell TinyGallery so it can get fixed.

If you run into trouble with something important like publishing a listing, editing a listing, checkout, or anything else, please use the regular TinyGallery website until the issue is fixed.

The fastest way to report it is through the contact page.
