Geometric Abstraction with Clouds 2 ACEOs original art acrylic paintings

These two paintings are in the style of geometric abstraction; they are acrylic on Arches paper. The paintings are backed with mixed media art board and covered with varnish. For me, the trouble with geometric abstraction is it's too flat, and without the texture and depth that comes with the colors of nature. Every time I try this style, I have to add something without edges. That's why there are clouds!
