Getting the details ready.

My first attempt at painting pansies after many years of knowing and loving them to be my grandma's favorite flower. She passed when I was little, and they always make me stop for a moment to think of her. I used a photo for reference, and it happened to be taken at my other grandma's house when I was visiting. Seemed special enough to commemorate with a painting. This piece was made with watercolor (personally mixed from watercolor powder and gum Arabic) as well as black ink on watercolor paper. it is the size of an ACEO at 2.5"x3.5"
