Getting the details ready.

Taken at platform four of Chicago's Union Station five minutes prior to boarding, this scene depicts the strangely isolating experience of taking public transportation in a busy city. Not pictured are the staggering and confused tourist, the bustling corporate flocks, school children pushing giggling classmates into the crowd, or the absent minded picture taker trying to get the perfect shot without causing a pile up. Lives observed in a split second before each person is whisked away to their own corner of the city. Done in watercolor on archival cotton paper.
