song recs: instant crush- daft punk, zenith- kavinsky i really like these red and blue shades. but, they feel very artificial, maybe because of how bright and saturated they are. everything nowadays feel more saturated, more tuned for “quick dopamine”. it got me thinking about whether our minds are becoming engineered to like certain things and how we perceive beauty and art. i do love sci-fi and a futuristic aesthetic (hence the music choices), but i do think it’s interesting to note how the changes in color used in art reflect evolutions in culture and society. considering making this a series acrylic markers :)
