A detailed colored pencil study of a bird skull, created using layered tones to build depth, contrast, and natural shading. A touch of metallic gold acrylic paint was added to create the dripping effect flowing from the beak, giving the piece a subtle surreal quality. I've always had a deep appreciation for birds and a fascination with drawing skulls, so why not draw a bird skull? It simply felt right!
