Getting the details ready.

This ACEO is a cyanotype, also called a blueprint. This is one of the oldest methods of exposing photographic negatives, and is done under the sun at noon. The chemicals painted on the papers are sensitive to UV light and change the chemistry on the paper with sunlight. The Prussian blue color is a classic cyanotype color. This image was taken of some sailboats in the harbor in La Maddalena, Sardinia. I was stationed there when I was in the Navy. If you look closely you might recognize the ferry in the right hand side of the picture. The ferry is how everyone travelled between these islands and the mainland. The image is signed and titled on the back. I will take care of shipping. I can ship internationally with a stamp and envelope.
