As he looks out over this field the air is warm and the sun shines. He sits on the barbed wire fence and waits for the wind to change just a little. 'Crow on the fence' is a little reminder of car rides through the countryside, a chance spotting of the dark figure on a farmer's fence. Then on down the road, to home, to vacation, to the next stop.
