Annie is names for Annie Albers, a brilliant artist married to a brilliant artist. This painting is two collaged squares on two painted rectangles. The paint is acrylic, and is thick and glossy on the surface. The first image shows the painting with a black and white 5 by 7 mat. I use Liquitex heavy body acrylics, which are known for their rich pigments.
