Created with acrylic markers and black ink on watercolor paper, the composition was inspired by a collection of colorful beads tucked away in a jewelry box. Objects meant to adorn and be admired, yet hidden from view the majority of the time. Their vibrant forms are transformed into a dynamic visual language, suggesting both celebration and restraint. Layered lines and organic shapes create a sense of movement while simultaneously implying enclosure, inviting viewers to reflect on the ways we preserve, protect, or imprison the things we value.
