Who can be unhappy when over flutters the sweetest little cappy? This round and joyful little capybara wants only two things: To be your friend, and to share in the good grazing. The wings are detailed with metallic watercolor, and the difference in sheen is shown in differing images. Whimsy and cottagecore meet in this charming ACEO. An original artwork painted in gouache. Measuring 2.5 x 3.5 Artwork will be delivered signed, wrapped, but unframed. This is the first half of the spring animals series that I am working on. Inspired by my love of watching the first blooms of spring, and the way that spring fills me with hope after my yearly battle with seasonal depression. Those first buds pushing up to meet the sky make me feel like hope is ready to bloom back inside me. Nothing speaks to hope more than small animals. Farm animals hold a special hold on me, perhaps I react strongly to the domestication process. But my life feels meant to dedicate to caring for animals whenever I can. So these wee spring babes are little pieces of hope, letting a feeling in my heart flutter to yours.
