This original ACEO miniature acrylic painting began as an exploration of color, with layers of cool blues, greens, and white creating an abstract, expressive background. As the piece evolved, I added a loose floral design using pen letting the image emerge from the different layers of colors. this was a spontaneous piece and it's contrast between the painterly acrylic textures and the fine linework gives the artwork a light, whimsical feel while inviting the viewer to discover their own interpretations.
