Laika, aka Dog Among the Stars The painting background is a cyanotype print using vintage lunar scans from one of the Apollo missions (alas I don't remember which one). Laika was a Soviet space dog and the first animal to orbit the Earth. She didn't survive the voyage, but helped pave the way for our own space voyages. Good dog <3 2.5" x 3.5" Acrylic and alcohol markers on cyanotype cardstock Signed and stamped by artist on the reverse side. Color tones may vary slightly due to different screen settings. Shipped in a protective sleeve and card in a normal envelope, (I'm going to try to figure out tracking, but no promises yet). Orders typically shipped on Fridays/Saturdays.
