Squiddy: Blu

This is my first ever ACEO I'm putting up for sale! The first ACEO I made is actually an orange squid I did that looks very similar to this one. My love of squids actually comes from one of the first comments I made about my boyfriend's hair when we first met--I told him he looks like he's got squid tentacles on his head! At first, I just wanted to experiment with cybersigilism (it looks sooo cool!!!). Just having it as a standalone design seemed kinda...not as interesting to me so I attempted to incorporate into something that already exists, and I chose a squid! I had a whole jar of ink leftover from a mandatory art class I took in college, but wanted to use it as dip ink (as in, with a dip pen used for calligraphy). I had no idea there were so many variations of pens in that category, and I didn't want to spend tons of money on something I might only use once....so I grabbed a bamboo skewer from my pantry and hoped for the best!
