Details

This painting was inspired by the ordinary, often overlooked, flowers that signal the start of spring. I find that within the ordinary, connection can be found. Memories that were forgotten can be reignited by the smallest of things. I am a dedicated gardener and spend a lot of time looking at the beauty in the ordinary plants, that come back every year of their own accord. I find that the intimate scale of ACEOs offer the perfect opportunity to cherish these moments. Painted with acrylic markers on coldpress watercolor paper.
