Getting the details ready.

This original art ACEO began as a photo of some flowers in Roanoke, Virginia. I printed a negative on acetate, then took some sandpaper to it to rough up the image. I printed the negative using cyanotype and the sun. The surface is covered with beeswax. The ACEO is mounted on a mixed media art board. Cyanotype is an old photographic process, and one of the few alternative printing processes that is environmentally friendly.
