Getting the details ready.

This is a small floral study, but it’s also a good example of how I paint in general. My work sits somewhere between contemporary figurative and impressionistic. I’m not trying to paint something exactly as it looks — I’m more interested in capturing a feeling or a moment. So I like to keep the shapes a little loose, and have visible brushstrokes. In this one, I liked the contrast of the soft pink flowers against the dark background, and how it created this subtle glow around them. That part wasn’t planned, but I tend to follow those moments instead of overworking them. ____________________________________________________ Details Original acrylic painting (not a print) Size: 2.5 x 3.5 inches (ACEO size) Materials: acrylic on paper Signed on the back One of a kind (OOAK) Unframed ____________________________________________________ ACEOs are small, collectible artworks that are easy to display or keep somewhere personal. Even at this size, I approach it the same way as my larger pieces — focusing more on color, movement, and feeling than precision. Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings. Ships carefully packaged. ____________________________________________________ Packaging Your painting will be placed inside a blank 5x7 white card. This makes it easy to display — you can place the card directly into a standard 5x7 frame, with the miniature painting centered inside.
