Jannah Lyon

I often float around in the fog of abstract expressionism, allowing my emotions or thoughts to drive my art, resulting in unexpected mark-making and multimedia stories. I am also inspired by nature, and I love to create studies of botanical or animal life, focusing on details and textures. I use many different mediums like watercolors, gouache, inks, crayons and pastels, and am always exploring new ways to incorporate texture or pattern into my works.
