I am a retired underground miner mechanic, started painting ten plus years ago. My hands knew Noise before they knew color working underground surrounded by the bouncing, cracking, groaning and popping of the rock and machinery. I learned to stay on edge. I found Pastels and each stroke of the pastel seemed to break the barrier painting has help with my content being on edge.
