Steeped in Mischief is card two of four in my Uninvited Tea Guests collection, whose general policy is: “We weren’t invited. Your security was embarrassing.” This little mouse didn't technically receive an invitation, but an unattended teacup apparently looked close enough. It climbed in, made itself comfortable, and immediately began assessing what could be moved, borrowed, or otherwise improved. Ownership was never really part of the decision-making process. When questioned about the situation, Steeped in Mischief has a perfectly reasonable explanation: “You left it unattended. I improved it.” I love creating characters whose personalities seem obvious before they ever say a word, and this one quickly became the guest most likely to cause trouble while looking completely pleased with the results.
