Jannah Lyon

I am inspired by nature and I love to create studies of fallen leaves, flowers and twigs. I also often float around in the fog of abstract expressionism, allowing my emotions or thoughts to drive my art, resulting in unexpected mark-making, imaginary landscapes, or soft and surreal color journeys. I use many different mediums like watercolors, gouache, inks, gold-leaf, crayons and pastels, and am always exploring new ways to incorporate texture or pattern into my works.
